Over 5000 years old in Thissur district, Lord Krishna the form of Maha Vishnu is the most sacred temple of Lord Krishna in the south of India. Known as Bhoolaka Vaikunta (abode of God on earth) was ceased by Guru Brahaspati and Vayu upon dissolution of Dwarka in Gujarat and established as Dakshin Dwarka. Blessed are those who revere him in total surrender. Replicated in black stone (Krishna Shila), crafted by hand and hand colored, by temple artisans of Karnataka, sculpting temple idols through generations down 400 years.
